News and Announcements
HAPPY VETERAN’S DAY! Thank you to all our parents, grandparents, aunts’, uncles’, cousins, siblings, friends, etc. who served and are serving our great country. Thank you for your service and sacrifice; not only today, but every day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Dual meet #2 is under our belt. We had some outstanding swims, at both dual meets, and the competition yielded best times and/or lessons that we will take to practice.
Below is the list of swimmers who have identified themselves as not being able to attend the PVAC meet. This list is going to our coaches for the creation of the line-ups. It is crucial that we know this information and for it be accurate.
The list of PVAC swimmer absences were emailed.

GIRLS – Away- Perkiomen Valley High School – 509 Gravel Rd., Collegeville, PA 19426
Arrival- 10:45 a.m. / Warm-up- 11:05 a.m. / Start- 11:30 a.m.

We will soon be celebrating a holiday, rooted in ‘thankfulness.’ Attached is a 21 Day Gratitude Challenge. From the 21 Day Gratitude Challenge:
“Understand that gratefulness is a work ethic. Being grateful is not a mystery. We have to train our brains to be grateful just like we work out our bodies. We not only need to be grateful, we need to work at being grateful. Try an experiment right now called the 21-Day Challenge. Combine each of the five researched habits and try it out for 21 days in a row to create or improve upon a grateful mind-set.”
Parents, you can revise this for younger swimmers, if you so wish.
To piggyback on this challenge, we want to extend our gratefulness by supporting the food drive at PAC. You can drop off canned goods at the entrance of PAC. We will be extending this opportunity to PVAC, as well. Perk swimmers, attending the dual meet at PAC can bring their canned goods at that time.
Reminder that we need your bios! Send them to email@example.com.

We thank you, in advance, for supporting our swimmers.
*Please refer to the SAL tab for arrival time and location for your swimmer’s first dual meet in order to help you with planning.

TOPS FIRST GOLF TOURNAMENT
This fundraising efforts is a means to be ready to meet a need for more pools in our area.
As shared at the parent meeting, USA Swimming, Middle Atlantic, ASCA, ISCA, and other swimming bodies acknowledge the need for more pools; and we feel it, most acutely, in southeastern PA.
As Brian Stoudt shared in a previous email, we are VERY THANKFUL to all those who contributed to this fundraising effort. You are supporting not only TOPS, but the future of this sport, in this area.
Thank you! Thank you! You are TOPS!

TOPS USA SWIMMERS WHO ARE 17 AND OLDER- If you will be swimming in the upcoming Blue Eagle meet, you must take the online Athlete Protection Online Class. Not only will Blue Eagle be checking you USA membership, but they will be checking that you took this online class. This is especially pressing for our existing 18 yr. old. It will be very unfortunate if you came to the meet and were not permitted to swim because this requirement is not fulfilled. Sadly, there is nothing your coaches can do for you if you do not take the necessary steps to complete this task.
FYI…You must allow at least 24 hrs. for the results of your online class to appear on your Deck Pass.
